FOR HOW MANY PEOPLE IS THE LOCATION SUITED?
The location is designed for a maximum of 100 people including service staff. According to regulations, it is not permitted to have more than the specified number of persons at the same time at the location.

Here are some recommendations for different event formats. We recommend at:
– Reception ground floor max. 40 people
– Roundtable in the showroom max. 24 people
– Reception basement max. 86 people
– Row seating in the showroom max. 84 people
– Conference seating in the showroom max. 66 people
– Workshop seating in the showroom max. 64 people

IS THE LOCATION BARRIER-FREE?
The Brandenburg Gate Museum has barrier-free access. The ground level entrance can be easily reached without overcoming steps. In the foyer is a passenger elevator which allows access to the basement. The sanitary facilities are not completely barrier-free.
IS FURNITURE AVAILABLE?
The location has existing furniture consisting of:
– 50 black sitting cubes
– 20 gray beanbags
– 12 bar stools
– 50 conference chairs
– 8 café chairs
– 6 bar tables
– 10 high tables
– 10 conference tables
– 3 coffee tables
– 1 reception counter / lectern

Additional furniture can be rented by external service providers. Please just contact us and we can arrange it (additional charge will be added).

DO YOU TAKE CARE OF OTHER SERVICES IN CONTEXT OF THE EVENT ORGANIZATION?
Of course we can take care of further services relating to your event at our venue. Here are some services that we are familiar with:

DO THE ROOMS HAVE DAYLIGHT??
The ground floor has plenty of natural light. In the basement at the showroom, the glass roof can be opened and closed within 25 seconds, so that daylight is possible at any time. The roof can not be opened completely. The other rooms at the basement have no daylight.
IS THERE AN OUTDOOR AREA?
No, the Brandenburg Gate Museum has no outdoor area that can be used for events.
IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?
There is no separate smoking area at the Brandenburg Gate Museum. In front of the entrance on the ground floor there is the possibility to set up an ashtray.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL ROOMS FOR STAFF, SPEAKERS, BREAKOUT SESSIONS, etc?
There are other rooms outside the museum, which can be provided if required. (An extra charge may be required.)
ARE THERE SPECIAL SAFETY ASPECTS WHICH MUST BE OBSERVED?
There is a security concept at the location which is visible for everyone and we are happy to hand it over to you before the event.
Questions Catering and Logistics
IS THE LOCATION BONDED TO A CATERER?
No, the location is not tied to any catering service provider. We partner with some catering companies successfully and they are very familiar with the conditions of our location. We are happy to recommend a partner according to your ideas or we take over the entire handling with the catering company. The customer can also present his own caterer but we have to examine the caterer and possibly charge an additional fee. Prerequisite for a third party caterer is the previous visit of the premises.
IS THERE A KITCHEN?
No, the location has no kitchen. There is a room for preparation and opportunities for heating. Cooking on site is not possible.
DO YOU PROVIDE BEVERAGES?
We can provide drinks from our own stock. These includes inter alia: Soft drinks, beer, wine, sparkling wine, and more. The billing is based on consumption or we can also offer different beverage packages.
IS THERE SERVICE STAFF?
By default, the room rental includes two service staff who will assist you during the event. Depending on the type of event and the F & B services, additional service staff will be provided at an additional cost. When commissioning the other service staff, there is no fixed partner with whom we work together.
HOW IS THE LOCATION AVAILABLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
The Brandenburg Gate Museum is just 100 meters away from the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station “Brandenburger Tor”. The lines of the S1, S2, S25 and the U55 run there. The bus stops “Wilhelmstraße”, “Reichstag / Bundestag” and “Brandenburger Tor” of the line 100 and 200 are in the immediate vicinity. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Berlin Central Station by foot.
HOW WELL IS THE MUSEUM ACCESSIBLE? (DISTANCE AIRPORT, RAILWAY STATION)
The airport Berlin Tegel (TXL) is about 10km away. Berlin Schönefeld Airport is about 21km away from the Brandenburg Gate Museum. Berlin Central Station can be reached by the U55 in about 5 minutes or by foot in about 10 minutes (distance 1,5km).
ARE THERE PARKING POSSIBILITIES AVAILABLE AT THE MUSEUM?
The museum does not have its own parking space. In the vicinity there are several parking garages that can be used for a fee.
HOW DOES THE DELIVERY OF MATERIALS WORK?
There are two different options for deliveries:
1) Via the Pariser Platz
There can be held for a short time to load and unload. Via the elevators of the neighboring foyer (maximum load 1,025kg, internal dimensions: 110x250cm, depth: 208cm, door measurements: 90x210cm) materials can be transported to the basement of the museum.
2) Via the underground car park Wilhelmstraße
There is a underground car park where you get access to the basement of the building. Cars and small transporters (max 2,5t and height max 2,50m) can be parked there for loading and unloading.
QUESTIONS TECHNIQUE
WHAT TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT DOES THE LOCATION OFFER?
In the showroom of the museum is a 270° panorama screen consisting of 87 high-tech screens with 180 million pixels. In addition, the showroom is equipped with a 38 channel surround sound system. These can be coupled with the sound system upstairs, so that the same music can be played on both levels. Detailed technical information can be found in our technical guide. ARE THERE OPTIONS TO BRAND THE LOCATION?
Yes, there are different branding options on both levels of the event location. In the foyer of the ground floor, the textile banner can be individually designed directly at the entrance or the two screens behind the bar. In the basement you can play your content on the 270° panorama screen (further information below). In the exhibition room there is also the possibility to design the surrounding textile banner. In addition to the options listed here, there are other options that we like to present to you during a visit.
Banners and roll-ups may be set up in front of the museum by prior arrangement.
IS THERE A TECHNICIAN IN CASE OF ANY PROBLEMS AVAILABLE?
Before the event, our technical staff will be at your disposal for any questions and will help you with the preparation. During the event, there is also an in-house technician in charge, who takes over the control of the technology and helps you with any problem.
HOW CAN WE USE THE PANORAMIC WALL?
The 270° panorama screen is the heart of the event location and can be individually recorded with your content. There are several ways to use the screen canvas. It can be used to record the entire surface with static images and presentations. We also have a selection of different panoramas with different atmospheres that you can use (for an extra charge, if applicable) or you or we can create custom slides. Details and prices on request. Furthermore, there are areas consisting of 3×3 screens that can be recorded with live content via HDMI input. Most complex is the dynamic 270° content which requires a certain lead time. Details are available on request.
DO YOU PROVIDE INTERNET ACCESS?
Yes, the Brandenburg Gate Museum is equipped with a fiber optic cable (capacity 50Mbit / s synchronous). In the basement and ground floor, the museum is fully equipped with Wi-Fi.
IS THERE AN AIR-CONDITIONING?
Yes, the Brandenburg Gate Museum is equipped with air conditioning. The air conditioning and cooling is for a person capacity of max. 100 people.
WHICH ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IS PRESENT?
The Brandenburg Gate Museum has distributed a variety of Schuko sockets throughout the location. There are also two high-voltage connections.
